Facebook announced that they are moving away from Facebook FBML programming tabs toward the Facebook iFrame tab sometime in March of 2010. At that time most people gave the announcement little or no attention, pretty much in the same way they responded to the Facebook Photo Uploader announcement or most of the other Facebook design changes along the way.
Well, ignore this programming change at your own peril!
On March 11th, Facebook will severely deprecate FBML and move forward with their release of the new iFrame pages. Like to create Facebook Fan Pages or Apps? After March 11th, they can no longer be made with FBML. So, there you have it. Are you going to stop making apps or pages? Probably not. You will need some sort of guide to set up the new iframe tabs however.
Are You Ready for Facebook iFrames?
Your answer is, (again), probably not, but don’t panic. The fact is that the Facebook Social Network is so engrained into the global marketing psyche that almost everyone is using it to some degree or another. What this means is that we have no choice but to embrace the new Facebook iframe tab. Or get left behind.
There are hundreds of thousands, if not millions, of Internet Marketers using Facebook custom tabs in their business, be it to build their lists, to begin viral marketing campaigns, to promote affiliate products, or even to offer social media consultation!
You need a solution! A Facebook cookbook so to speak. An iframes tutorial guide.
You need a Facebook design that includes:
- A customizable system to create your very own reveal splash page that uses the new fb iframe.
- Ready-made templates with custom tabs that you can instantly deploy, so you can have list opt-ins, php scripts, HTML5 videos, photo galleries, and contact forms embedded in your Facebook pages. (Coincidentally, these are now easily integrated with the new Facebook Page Application process in under ten minutes).
- You need these templates to be rock solid HTML5 coding so that both traditional websites and mobiles devices like the Android, Blackberry, iPhone and even the iPad 2 can view the content without a problem.
- You need tips and tricks to bypass Facebook’s limitations of 800px tall for iFrames and you want to break the scrollbars that this imposes upon your content. You need a way to build a good reveal tab.
The new Facebook iFrame tabs setup can literally place your entire website on a Facebook page.
Everything, such as links to other pages, calls-to-actions, salespages, reveal frames, videos and Opt-ins and landing pages. We mean everything a website does, a Fan Page Template built with Facebook iframe tabs will do better.
You can place your entire blog or website, or any other web content for that matter, in Facebook and virally share it with millions of Facebook users every single day! You definitely don’t want to miss out on this…
Facebook iFrame Pages Will Change The Way We Do Business Online!
Facebook iframes Pages combines Social Media With Traditional Web Media.
With the iFrame pages, you can combine the power of your website with the power of Social Media right inside Facebook! This is truly how a “Fan” page should have been in the first place. Everything you do should be available to your followers. Just think about how many wonderful ways you can apply this new technology!
Personally, we need this. Our guess is that you need this, and your subscribers/clients need this, even if you don’t believe it right now. Facebook is that important to the marketing process.
Today, March 10th, Daniel Tan, a well known Internet Marketer and savvy Facebook Guru, released a product called FBMaxed to the public. It’s the hottest solution to the new Facebook iFrame problem and already it is getting very positive results and feedback!
